Cherry Tomato Pasta

A creamy cherry tomato pasta, which comes together in only 15 minutes! Using cherry tomatoes instead of regular ones gives the sauce a more intense and sweeter flavor. 😍

  • 150 g pasta
  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • ½ shallot
  • 300 g tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Italian herbs
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 pinch salt & pepper
  • 100 ml (oat) cream
  • 30 g Parmesan
  • 90 g tomato puree
  • 2 tbsp pasta water
  • 1-2 tbsp red wine (optional)
  • 10 leaves fresh basil
  • 1 burrata
  • 1 tsp chili flakes


  • Finely chop the shallot and garlic. Heat up olive oil in a pan and fry it.
  • Add the whole cherry tomatoes together with the Italian herbs, paprika powder, salt, and pepper. Fry it till the tomatoes turn soft. 
  • Meanwhile cook the pasta.
  • Onces the tomatoes have turned soft, flatten them with a wooden spoon.
  • Add the tomato puree, cream, pasta water (red wine) and Parmesan, mix everything well and add the basil.
  • When the pasta is ready, add it to the sauce and stir it. Serve the pasta with burrata and chilli flakes.
