This is what we like to call "Hollandse pot". It contains potatoes, some veggies and meat.
The apples and red cabbage add some sweeteness to this savoury dish!

ingredients
  

  • 300 g crumbly potatoes
  • 200 g cauliflowe
  • 250 g minced meat (vegan possible)
  • 500 g red cabbage
  • 1 apple
  • 75 ml milk (vegan possible)
  • 2 tsbp breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  • Peel the potatoes and cut the cauliflower. Put them together in a pan of boiling water and cook for 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile fry the minced meat. Season with herbs.
  • Cut the apple into small pieces without skin. Put it in a container with the cinnamon.
  • Drain the potatoes and cauliflower. Add the milk and puree it. Add some salt, caraway seeds and nutmeg to the potatoes if desired.
  • Cover an oven dish with the apple pieces. Place the red cabbage on top, then the minced meat and then the mashed potatoes. Sprinkle it with breadcrumbs.
  • Put it in the oven for 20 minutes.

Vegan: Use vegan minced meat and plant-based milk.
Seasoning: nutmeg, mustard seed
