Roasted Chickpeas

  • Oven


  • 1 can chickpeas (265 g)
  • tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (add more if you want them spicy)


  • Preheat the oven at 200°C.
  • Drain and dry the chickpeas with kitchen paper.
  • Lay the chickpeas in an oven tray and cover them with a little bit of olive oil. Spread the oil over every chickpea with your hands.
  • Drizzle the spices over it. Make sure every chickpea is covered.
  • Put the chickpeas in the oven for 20-30 min. Make sure you turn them around every 10 minutes.
  • The chickpeas can be stored for 2 days. After 1 day they will turn soft, so you might want to put them in the oven again. They are the most delicious right after making them.


Vegan: already vegan.
Seasoning: no additional seasoning needed.
