  • Frying pan
  • Cooking pan

ingredients

  • 4 orange peppers
  • 1 aubergine
  • 300 g pork fillet steaks
  • 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce (ketjap)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 150 g rice

instructions

  • Draw the faces on the peppers (I just used a pen) and cut them out with a small paring knife. Cut the top off as well.
  • Place the sliced bell peppers with top in the oven at 200 ˚C for 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, bring water to a boil and cook the rice.
  • Cut the aubergine and pork fillet into small cubes
  • Fry the pork chunks. When the pork chunks are cooked, add the aubergine.
  • Add the soy sauce and sweet soy sauce. Season it with coriander, chili pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and ginger if necessary. Add more soy sauce and sweet soy sauce if desired.
  • Add the rice to the pork chunks and aubergine.
  • Fill the peppers with the rest of the ingredients.

notes

Vegan: Use tofu or tempeh instead of pork.
Seasoning: onion powder, garlic powder, coriander, cayenne powder, paprika powder and salt
