Gingerbread Espresso Martini
Gingerbread Simple Syrup
My favorite cocktail, a espresso martini, with a little twist!
In a sauce pan, heat up the water and sugar till the sugar has dissolved. Take the sauce pan off the heat and add the spices. Let it rest for 6 hours. You can also use pre-made gingerbread syrup.
Crumble the gingerbread cookies on a plate. Dip the edge of the glass in the gingerbread syrup, dip it afterward in the gingerbread cookies.
To a cocktail shaker add the ice cubes, vodka, coffee liquor, espresso and gingerbread syrup. Shake for a few seconds.
Strain the cocktail into the martini glasses.
