ingredients
  

Cocktail

  • 30 ml vodka
  • 30 ml coffee liquor (Kahlua)
  • 30 ml espresso
  • 15 ml gingerbread simple syrup
  • 2 gingerbread cookies

Gingerbread Simple Syrup

  • 200 g sugar
  • 240 ml water
  • 5 cinnamon sticks
  • 80 g ginger (peeled and cut)
  • 2 tsp allspice
  • 5 cloves
  • ¼ nutmeg

instructions
 

  • In a sauce pan, heat up the water and sugar till the sugar has dissolved. Take the sauce pan off the heat and add the spices. Let it rest for 6 hours. You can also use pre-made gingerbread syrup.
  • Crumble the gingerbread cookies on a plate. Dip the edge of the glass in the gingerbread syrup, dip it afterward in the gingerbread cookies.
  • To a cocktail shaker add the ice cubes, vodka, coffee liquor, espresso and gingerbread syrup. Shake for a few seconds.
  • Strain the cocktail into the martini glasses.
