Quick microwaved baked oats

Microwaved Baked Oats

If you're in a hurry and looking for a quick but still delicious recipe, this is the one you need. This recipe has texture of baked oats, but it is done in 5 minutes!
You can flavour it any way you like, I used banana, chocolate and peanut butter. Have a look at my other baked oats recipes for more inspiration!

  • Microwave


  • 40 g oats
  • 1 egg
  • 120 ml milk
  • smashed banana
  • tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tsp agave syrup
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 peanut butter swirl (10 g)
  • chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp flax seed (optional)


  • Spray in a microwave-safe bowl with cookingspray and mix all the ingredients except the peanutbutter and chocolate chips.
  • Add the chocolate chips and make a swirl of peanutbutter on top.
  • Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes. (I checked it at 2 minutes and put it back in for one minute).


Vegan: not possible.
Seasoning: does not apply.
