Camembert puff pastry with cranberry and pecan nuts

One of my favourite things to eat during winter time is melted Camembert. In this recipe turned it into little puff pastry bites with cranberry sauce and pecan nuts.

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Muffin tin

ingredients
  

  • 4 puff pastry sheets
  • 1 good quality camembert (the cheap ones will not melt properly)
  • 2 cloves garlic (grated)
  • 2 springs rosemary
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp cranberry sauce
  • 5 roasted pecan nuts (crushed)

instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven on 200 °C.
  • Defrost the puff pastry sheets. Cut it in 4 squares. Place the puff pastry squares in a greased muffin tin. Bake for 5 minutes.
  • Cut the camembert in 2x1 cm cubes. Add the camembert on top of the puff pastry.
  • On each camembert piece, add a little bit of garlic, rosemary, and honey.
  • Bake for another 15 minutes.
  • Top with cranberry sauce and roasted pecan nuts.
