An lower in kcal alternative for potato fries! They are crispy and delicious!

  • 1 butternut squash
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp cayenne powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper


  • Poke holes in the pumpkin with a fork. Place it in the oven for a few minutes (ca. 10 min) to soften the pumpkin. This will make it easier to cut the pumpkin.
  • Cut the pumpkin and empty the center. Cut the pumpkin in fries size and place it in a bowl.
  • Add the cornstarch. Make sure all the pumpkin pieces are fully covered.
  • Add the oil, paprika powder, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. Mix it well.
  • Place the pumpkin in the air fryer for 20 minutes on 200 °C.
